Cobb Salad Delight


 The Cobb Salad is an American garden salad made from chopped salad greens, tomatoes, crisp bacon, hard boiled eggs and grilled chicken. Often times you'll find avocado, black olives, and a few other ingredients thrown in!

Yields: 2 Servings Time: 1 Hour

4 cups butter lettuce, chopped
1 pint grape tomatoes, quartered
4 slices thick-cut lardon (bacon), fried – pan seared
1 cup sweet corn
1 avocado, chopped

1/4 cup Mayonnaise
3 tablespoons Sour Cream
A dashes Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tablespoons Chopped Chives
1 ounces Blue Cheese Crumbles
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper and Salt

To chop butterhead lettuce I like to lay it out on a big cutting board, roll them into longs and run my knife through it until it's in long strips, and then I go the opposite direction.

Prepare all ingredients and place to the side.


In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Stir in chives, blue cheese crumbles, salt, and pepper. Taste and add more seasoning if needed. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Flavors deepen as it chills!

Once dressing is chilled, combine all ingredients in a large bowl, plate and serve!
